As a result of our incredible success and growth, we are looking for a Credit Controller to join us.

Responsibilities include

Own a personal ledger within the team's shared cash collection target, proactively chasing invoices rather than just following process from very old, overdue accounts to invoices due for the first time.

Contact customers and their payment partners to confirm invoices have been received and scheduled for payment, chasing consistently in the run-up to and past the due date.

Keep Sage fully up to date so the team always has an accurate picture of progress across the ledger.

Solve problems as they come up by reissuing invoices, tracking down supporting contracts, requesting POs, and running claims through payment portals.

Build strong working relationships across finance, sales, and with customers and third-party payment processors to keep cash moving as efficiently as possible.

Requirements

A little bit about you.

We’d really like to hear from you, if you have

Experience as a credit controller in a high-volume environment (think hundreds of invoices and customers on the go at once), motivated by hitting cash collection targets.

A tenacious, resourceful approach to problem solving — you find a way to get things done, whatever the barriers, rather than giving up on a tricky account.

Strong relationship-building skills across different stakeholders, from finance and sales through to customers and third parties.

A logical, detail-focused mindset with the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload efficiently.

Confidence working with systems to track and manage data (Sage Intacct experience, or exposure to affiliate networks in media/advertising, is a bonus).
