Overview
The Maritime Strategy & Delivery Lead is a senior AI & Data practitioner responsible for shaping, modernizing, and executing data‑driven mission outcomes across the Defense Maritime portfolio. Positioned within the AI & Data practice and aligned to the Data Center of Excellence (CoE), this role translates enterprise‑grade digital, analytics, and AI capabilities into impactful client delivery across the Maritime portfolio.
This leader serves as the matrixed strategic partner to the Maritime Portfolio, enabling portfolio growth, delivery excellence, and integration with Data CoE methodologies. They play an immediate role supporting the shipbuilding campaign, while also driving the Community Space capture and broader Navy digital‑data modernization efforts.
The individual acts as a seasoned integrator across Defense BD, B&P, and client delivery serving as the Maritime AI & Data Lead. Their work enables modern digital cores, data ecosystems, and mission‑aligned transformation rooted in enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Maritime AI & Data Strategy Across the Defense Portfolio
Drive portfolio‑wide modernization strategy across:
Maritime digital and data transformation initiative
CDAO‑aligned analytics, governance, and AI adoption
Navy transformation programs connected to the Defense client
Enterprise integration with Data CoE methodologies and accelerators
Drive Growth & Pursuit Strategy for Maritime Digital Modernization
Partner with Maritime and Defense leadership to shape growth across high‑priority opportunities:
Develop pursuit strategies, digital/data win themes, and solution architectures
Lead technical volumes, strategy narratives, and orals preparation
Serve as the AI & Data authority during customer engagements
Ensure alignment between Maritime demand signals and Data CoE capabilities
Support Shipbuilding Modernization Delivery
Provide immediate leadership and technical direction for:
Shipbuilding data infrastructure, analytics, and digital modernization
Integration across engineering, CDAO partners, and Maritime stakeholders
Solutioning for data ingestion, modeling, workflows, and mission analytics
Ensuring operational readiness and delivery excellence once pursuits are won
Lead Community Space Strategy
Own and drive Defense client capture and mission expansion:
Shape community-space growth strategy leveraging Jupiter’s data ecosystem
Integrate Navy data pipelines, governance processes, and mission workflows
Mature cross‑portfolio adoption of Defense client capabilities
Position Maritime as a leader in CDAO‑aligned digital modernization
Serve as Senior Integrator Across Maritime Defense Portfolio
Provide leadership and coordination across Defense activities:
Align BD/B&P activities to portfolio strategy
Ensure consistent messaging, pipeline discipline, and integrated solutioning
Improve coordination between Maritime, Data CoE, and Defense leadership
Required Expertise
Deep knowledge of AI & Data methodologies as established by the Data CoE
Experience with Navy, CDAO, or defense mission data ecosystems
Strong background in digital transformation, analytics platforms, and governance
Ability to operate at the intersection of mission needs, technical strategy, and portfolio leadership
Proven experience shaping large pursuits and enabling mission‑aligned delivery
Skilled at stakeholder management across technical, mission, and executive teams
Ability to translate complex technical ecosystems into actionable modernization plans
Success Criteria
Growth in Maritime digital modernization pipeline and improved PWIN for key pursuits
Successful delivery execution across Defense client aligned programs
Visible improvement in Maritime’s digital posture, mission analytics, and data modernization outcomes
Strong integration between Maritime and the AI & Data practice, reducing leadership bandwidth strain
Recognition by clients and partners as a trusted strategic advisor in Maritime AI & Data modernization

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
