What You’ll Do
As the Director of Wellness Services, you will be a key clinical leader within Hillcrest Highlands, overseeing resident wellness services and helping ensure exceptional care throughout Assisted Living and Memory Care.
You will:
Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to Personal Care Assistants and Medication Aides.
Help ensure each resident receives care and support according to their individualized service agreement.
Create, coordinate, and manage PCA and Med Tech schedules to maintain appropriate staffing and continuity of care.
Complete resident assessments, including pre-move-in, move-in, and ongoing assessments.
Monitor resident health needs and ensure changes in condition are identified and addressed appropriately.
Implement physician orders and maintain accurate resident records.
Review daily documentation to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
Review Medication Administration Records for errors, missed doses, missing signatures, and overall accuracy.
Ensure medications are provided according to applicable Medication Aide requirements.
Evaluate Medication Aide competency and make appropriate assignments based on resident safety and team-member competency.
Prepare physician updates, medication information, and documentation needed for resident appointments.
Coordinate communication related to physician appointments, transportation, and scheduling.
Complete weekly rounds with primary care providers for participating residents.
Maintain awareness of residents’ ADL, behavioral, and changing care needs.
Investigate resident events, complete root-cause analysis, and coordinate appropriate follow-up and communication.
Ensure appropriate notifications are made to physicians, families, leadership, and other involved parties.
Participate in resident Plan of Care conferences with residents, families, and designated representatives.

Education & Credentials
Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
Current Nebraska or compact-state RN or LPN license required.
At least one year of clinical experience in geriatrics, Assisted Living, or dementia care required.
At least two years of leadership experience preferred.
Geriatric certification preferred.
