The role

Rip Curl is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to lead the strategy behind how we grow digital demand, acquire new customers and amplify our brand across global digital channels.

Sitting at the intersection of brand, performance and ecommerce, this is a role for someone who can see the bigger picture and turn it into commercially effective digital activity. You’ll shape our approach across paid media, paid social, SEO, GEO, AEO, affiliate marketing and emerging acquisition and discovery channels.

Working closely with our Brand, Creative, Social and Ecommerce teams, you’ll help extend the reach and impact of Rip Curl’s products, athletes, events and brand stories, connecting great brand moments with measurable digital performance. You’ll also lead our Performance Marketing Specialist and Digital Campaign Specialist, setting clear priorities and building capability within the team.

What you’ll be doing

Lead Rip Curl’s global digital marketing and customer acquisition strategy.

Shape investment across paid media, paid social, search, affiliate and emerging digital channels.

Drive new-customer acquisition and improve the commercial effectiveness of digital marketing investment.

Lead SEO, GEO and AEO strategy, helping Rip Curl remain discoverable as search and AI-led discovery continue to evolve.

Bring digital thinking into major brand campaigns, launches, athlete activations, events and key trading periods.

Connect paid amplification with organic brand and social activity.

Use performance data and customer insights to continually improve channel, audience and investment decisions.

Lead, coach and develop our digital marketing specialists.

Manage agency and platform partners and build stronger digital capability in-house.

What you’ll bring

You’ll be an experienced digital marketer who brings together commercial thinking, strong brand judgement and deep performance-marketing capability.

We’re looking for:

Demonstrated experience leading digital marketing or customer acquisition in ecommerce, retail or a consumer environment.

Strong experience across paid media, paid social and SEO.

Strong commercial and analytical capability, with confidence using data to make investment decisions.

Experience developing integrated digital campaigns across multiple channels.

Experience managing digital marketing budgets, agencies and external partners.

Strong stakeholder leadership and the ability to work across Brand, Creative, Ecommerce, Social and regional teams.

Leadership experience, with the ability to coach and develop digital specialists.

An interest in emerging discovery channels, including GEO, AEO and AI-powered search

If you’re excited by the opportunity to combine brand, performance and customer growth for an iconic global surf brand, we’d love to hear from you.
