Workiva is building a world-class demand generation engine — and digital events are a core driver of how we engage enterprise buyers, build pipeline, and accelerate deals. This role owns that capability.
The Lead Digital Events Manager is a strategic program owner responsible for designing, scaling, and optimizing Workiva's full digital events portfolio: webinars, virtual experiences, on-demand sessions, and digital event activations. You set the vision for how Workiva shows up in digital event environments, build the infrastructure to execute at scale, and drive measurable pipeline outcomes across financial reporting, sustainability, and GRC buyer audiences.
What You'll Do
Global Digital Events Strategy & Program Ownership
Own the global strategy, calendar, and execution model for Workiva's full digital events portfolio — webinars, virtual experiences, on-demand sessions, and digital event activations
Work cross functionally across regions to support in-region execution of the digital events portfolio
Design audience segmentation, format strategy, and content programming across enterprise buyer personas (CFO, CAE, CSO, CRO) and GTM priorities
Build repeatable frameworks and playbooks that enable consistent, scalable execution with high quality and relevance
Lead vendor and platform relationships for digital event technology — webinar platforms, virtual event tools, and production partners
Actively integrate AI into digital event workflows — personalization, content acceleration, follow-up automation, and performance analysis
Demand & Pipeline Contribution
Own a pipeline target tied to the digital events portfolio — know what's in market, what's converting, and why
Align digital event programming to Workiva's demand priorities
Partner with Field Marketing and Campaign Managers to integrate digital events into broader GTM motions as pipeline accelerators
Performance, Measurement & Optimization
Build and own full-funnel reporting across registration, attendance, engagement, follow-up conversion, and pipeline influence
Apply attribution frameworks to understand true channel contribution
Drive channel efficiency improvement as a key performance lever
Use data to make decisions, not to justify decisions already made — bring evidence-backed recommendations to leadership
What Success Looks Like
Your digital events portfolio is a recognized pipeline driver. Stakeholders understand what is planned, why it matters, and what actions to take afterward
You own a diverse, high-performing program aligned to buyer journeys and GTM priorities
You take initiative and ownership, driving projects forward with sound judgment and minimal oversight
You are fluent in data. You know what is working, what is not, and what you are changing in response
You build programs that are repeatable and scalable, with documented processes and measurable results
You are a recognized leader in the discipline, collaborating across teams, influencing stakeholders, and setting the standard for digital engagement at Workiva
What You'll Need

8+ years in B2B SaaS demand generation, digital events, or integrated campaign roles
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a platform-first or multi-solution SaaS environment, marketing to multiple buyer personas
Background in demand generation or account-based experience (ABX) strategy, with a track record of connecting campaigns to pipeline
Hands-on use of AI tools to support content creation, personalization, or event performance analysis
Ability to influence sales teams on follow-up and pipeline conversion without direct authority
Demonstrated ownership of a digital events or webinar program with direct pipeline accountability
Experience designing and scaling virtual experiences beyond standard webinars, such as virtual summits, on-demand content hubs, or multi-session digital events
Working knowledge of enterprise sales cycles and how digital events contribute to a full-funnel demand model
Proficiency with webinar and virtual event platforms (e.g., ON24, Zoom Events, Goldcast) and marketing automation and CRM systems (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce)
Proven ability to build performance dashboards, own attribution reporting, and present data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders
Strong communication skills, including clear program briefs, concise summaries, and effective collaboration with cross-functional partners
