The role

Qualified Rural Surveyor - South East Wales

Full-time or Part-time | Flexible Working

I'm working with an established, multi-disciplinary property consultancy with a strong presence across South Wales and the South West. They are looking to recruit an experienced Rural Surveyor to join their team in South East Wales.

This is a particularly broad general practice role, offering the opportunity to work across a varied rural client base rather than becoming pigeonholed into one specialism. The successful candidate will handle a mixture of agency, valuation, landlord and tenant, utilities, planning and rural advisory work

The Role

Depending on your experience and interests, your work could include:

Farm, land and rural property sales

Valuations

Agricultural and commercial landlord & tenant matters

Compensation and utilities work

Rural planning and development

Advice on rural support schemes and subsidy applications

Machinery and collective sales

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with rural clients

The position offers a good level of autonomy alongside the support of an established wider team. There is also scope to develop your career across different areas of rural professional work.

About You

Ideally, you will:

Be MRICS and/or FAAV qualified, or have a comparable level of rural surveying experience

Have at least two years' post-qualified experience

Possess good general practice rural surveying knowledge

Be commercially aware and comfortable dealing directly with clients

Be organised, self-motivated and capable of managing your own workload

Have strong communication and IT skills

Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle

What's On Offer?

Competitive salary, dependent on experience

Team performance bonus

Defined career development pathway

25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays

Flexible working arrangements

Full-time or part-time hours considered

Life cover and employee assistance programme

This would suit a Rural Surveyor who enjoys variety, wants direct client contact and is looking for a long-term opportunity within an established practice.

All enquiries will be treated in the strictest confidence. An up-to-date CV isn't essential for an initial conversation.
