Key Responsibilities:
As a Java Developer you will be responsible for supporting current and developing new software solutions.
You will use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable high performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.
You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and engage with multiple teams, contribute to key deliveries and provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams,
Maintain existing Java C applications.
Take ownership of specific software components and ensure their quality and performance meet project standards.
Should be able to collaborate with people and can learn and teach others.
Pass a fairly rigorous client security clearance, no felonies, convictions, good credit standing etc., including fingerprinting and a drug test.
Note: Role requires 100% onsite client work in Chicago, IL
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of Java Enterprise Backend Development
Capable of passing public trust clearance
Must pass a client security clearance including background check, good credit standing, fingerprinting, and drug test
Must be a Green Card Permanent Resident for past 7 years or US Citizen
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced proficiency in Agile Team Practices
Advanced proficiency in JUnit Testing Framework and Spring Boot along with intermediate proficiency in Apache Kafka and Microservices Architecture
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
