The BP&T Process Value Engineer is responsible for identifying, shaping, and accelerating process improvement and value realization opportunities across Global Supply Chain operations. The role sits within the Hyderabad BP&T organization and acts as a specialist capability focused on process excellence, process engineering, process intelligence, simulation, and automation enablement.
Working closely with Global Supply Chain capability owners, process excellence teams, business SMEs, BIT, data, analytics, digital adoption, and automation teams, the role converts process knowledge into actionable improvement opportunities. This includes leveraging ADONIS and other process intelligence capabilities to analyze process performance, identify bottlenecks and non-value-added work, model current and future states, simulate improvement scenarios, and prioritize opportunities that unlock measurable value.
The ideal candidate combines strong process engineering discipline with digital fluency, analytical thinking, business partnering, and a value-led mindset. This individual must be comfortable working across global teams and helping the business move from process documentation to process intelligence, optimization, and automation at scale.
Duties/Responsibilities
• Identify, assess, and prioritize process improvement opportunities across Global Supply Chain operations, with a focus on simplification, standardization, automation, cycle time reduction, risk reduction, and measurable business value.
• Use ADONIS and process intelligence capabilities to analyze current-state and future-state process maps, process hierarchies, RACI structures, systems, data flows, risks, controls, cycle times, handoffs, and operating pain points.
• Translate process models and operational insights into value cases, improvement hypotheses, clear recommendations, and leadership-ready decision support.
• Lead process engineering analysis to identify bottlenecks, rework, manual tasks, duplicate activities, compliance risks, decision delays, and non-value-added activities across end-to-end supply chain processes.
• Develop and apply value assessment frameworks, including effort-vs-impact analysis, benefit sizing, feasibility assessment, readiness criteria, and prioritization logic for process improvement, automation, and AI-enabled opportunities.
• Leverage process simulation and scenario analysis to compare current and future-state options, quantify value drivers, and support business cases for change.
• Partner with process owners, capability leads, operational SMEs, and digital teams to convert process opportunities into prioritized backlogs, delivery roadmaps, and implementation plans.
• Support process automation opportunity identification by highlighting manual, repeatable, rules-based, high-volume, or exception-driven activities that may be suitable for workflow automation, low-code automation, AI agents, or other digital solutions.
• Develop reusable templates, methods, and playbooks for process value assessment, process mining/readiness reviews, automation candidate identification, and process intelligence reporting.
• Build process performance dashboards and value realization views that connect process metrics, adoption measures, quality indicators, operational KPIs, and improvement outcomes.
• Strengthen process governance by supporting reviews of process accuracy, metadata…
