Carex is partnering with a electronic manufacturing industry partner to find an experienced Project Manager to support data and technology initiatives through a combination of program coordination, project management, and Jira administration. This role will be responsible for managing smaller-scale projects, coordinating activities across larger data programs, and driving visibility, accountability, and execution across cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in project management, Agile methodologies, and stakeholder communication, along with hands-on experience managing Jira workflows, boards, and reporting. A background in data, analytics, or data-related technology initiatives is a plus.

What You'll Do
Program & Project Management
Coordinate activities, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple data and technology initiatives to support broader program objectives.
Independently manage small to medium-sized projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, resources, and business objectives.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, risk logs, and other project documentation using established project management methodologies.
Partner with technical teams, business stakeholders, and project sponsors to identify resource needs, establish priorities, and manage competing demands.
Track project progress, proactively identify risks and roadblocks, and drive timely resolution of issues and dependencies.
Facilitate project meetings, document decisions and action items, and ensure accountability for follow-through.
Support program-level reporting by consolidating project updates, tracking key milestones, and communicating overall progress to leadership.
Jira Administration & Process Optimization
Serve as a key resource for Jira administration, including managing projects, boards, workflows, dashboards, filters, and reporting.
Configure and maintain Jira to support effective project tracking, backlog management, sprint planning, and team collaboration.
Partner with project teams to establish consistent Jira practices, improve data quality, and ensure accurate tracking of work and deliverables.
Develop dashboards and reports that provide visibility into project status, team capacity, priorities, and delivery performance.
Identify opportunities to streamline Jira processes, improve workflow efficiency, and support consistent adoption across teams.
Provide guidance and support to Jira users, helping teams maximize the platform's project management capabilities.
Data & Technology Initiative Support
Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, IT, and business teams to coordinate project activities and ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables.
Support planning and execution of data-related initiatives, which may include data integration, reporting, analytics, data quality, or platform enhancements.
Help translate business objectives into actionable project tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
Track cross-functional dependencies and facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Support documentation of business requirements, technical dependencies, and project outcomes to ensure alignment throughout execution.
Agile Delivery & Continuous Improvement
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Help teams apply Agile principles and practices while adapting delivery approaches to project and business needs.
