The application window is expected to close on: 12/17/2026 Who We Are:
The Common Hardware Group (CHG) creates innovative hardware platforms central to the AI era, powering Cisco’s core Switching, Routing, and Wireless products for organizations globally. Our innovations in silicon, optics, and hardware platforms—like Silicon One—are shaping the technology industry. We're a global team of creative experts, bringing our unique backgrounds and bold ideas to push boundaries and help each other grow. Because full product development—from design to qualification to production—is within our team, we’re able to think differently, experiment more, and work quickly. Join us to power the future of the digital world.
Your Impact:
As a technical leader, you will own and drive end-to-end DFT flow architecture, building and maintaining scalable CAD infrastructure that spans the entire design cycle from RTL and insertion to ATPG, simulation, and reporting. Spearhead the development of robust, LSF-based regression frameworks and leverage AI-driven automation to enhance log analysis, failure triage, and intelligent debug processes. By collaborating cross-functionally with RTL, Physical Design, and Validation teams, you ensure seamless integration and signoff while establishing standardized, high-reusability flows that enforce best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or a Master's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering required with at least 10 years of experience CAD, or test automation for semiconductor designs.
Prior experience applying AI/ML techniques to EDA workflows (log analysis, anomaly detection, predictive insights).
Prior experience with EDA DFT toolchain like Synopsys TestMAX, Synopsys VCS, Siemen's Tessent and similar,
Prior experience in Tcl, Python, Perl, and shell scripting.
Prior experience building automated flows and regression systems in compute farm environments (LSF/ or similar)
Prior experience with SoC integration and cross-functional workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with data analytics tools (Python/pandas, dashboards, visualization tools).
Experience with large-scale regression systems and distributed job management.
Exposure to ATE/tester formats (e.g., STIL) and silicon bring-up/debug.
