Main Responsibilities
• Implement PCT/PAT part in capital investment projects as Senior PCT Control System Engineer in time schedule, budget and quality according the relevant standards and procedures in all project phases for all PCT tasks
• Develops the design basis for capital investment projects including but not limited to the definition of design basis, PCT/PAT Control System description, diagrams together with Process discipline, control system specification, and control system library in PAT system etc.;
• Evaluates technical needs of clients, converts those needs into functional and technical requirements and finally into engineering design input, checks feedback on potential for improvement and collates an optimal solution while considering technical, economical and ecological constrains;
• Establish a team of PCT/PAT Control System engineers as part of the project organization, and proposes multi-discipline workflow to ensure cross communication (interface management) within PCT team and within project sub-team incl. technical experts, operation, etc.;
• Lead and Implement PCT/PAT Control System related workflows and standards, guidelines, instruct technical personnel in view of legal obligation and company policy to ensure complete and consistent PCT/PAT design package; Implements Functional Safety and PCT portion of Machinery Safety in project.
• Specify the work plan and schedule for process design services in project, collates cost estimation data for his or her discipline;
• Prepare PCT/PAT Control System documentation for PCT (basic, detail, interface, final) in EPDS 1-99 Project File Structure to ensure the delivery package fully compliance, collates and reviews engineering documents created by process engineers assigned to the same project;
• Provide support to EM/PM by coordinates engineering disciplines during the engineering and design phase of capital projects

Qualification Requirements (Education & Work Experience)
• Masters or Bachelor degree in instrumentation, automation, or IT engineering from renowned university
• Work experience in relevant field in PCT/PAT Control System design of at least 8 years.
• Has gained during his professional career significant know how in the areas of basic and detail design including interface management with contractors, field engineering support, commissioning and start-up of chemical, petrochemical or related plants;
• Knowledge of control systems, (or) instrumentation, and associated auxiliaries, digital plant automation structures and CAE tools is required. Familiar with Control System product: e.g. Yokogawa/Emerson...
• Fluent in written and spoken English & Chinese
• Knowledge of all relevant GB and IEC codes with regard to design and maintenance of PCT systems in chemical and petrochemical plants
• Able to establish priorities, to organize, to work independently, and to proceed according to agreed objectives without continuous supervision
• Exhibits considerable interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
• Project experience: Lead PCT Engineer role in € 5 million+ projects
