PRODUCT MANAGER, MESSAGING
We’re looking for a Product Manager who wants to own how brands actually talk to creators at scale. This role owns CreatorIQ’s messaging product: the unified inbox and composer that creator marketing teams live in every day, the sending infrastructure underneath it, and the automation and agentic layer we’re building on top. Messaging is where creator relationships are won or lost, and the opportunity is to let AI do the work a manager currently does one message at a time, on infrastructure that can actually carry it.
If you love turning a messy, high-volume communication problem into workflows that marketers trust — and you have the taste to tell when AI-drafted outreach genuinely sounds like the brand versus when it’s impressive-looking slop a creator will ignore — you’ll fit right in. We’re growing fast, building in an evolving AI and agentic landscape, and working with teams around the world who care about doing great work without the ego.
In this role, you'll get to:
- Take real ownership of the creator messaging experience end to end — inbox, composer, threads, templates — iterating from messy problem to shipped feature. You’ll measure, learn, and do it again.
- Own the agentic layer of messaging: outreach that drafts itself, sequences that adapt, and automations a marketer can trust to run without watching. You’ll decide what the agent does on its own, what it proposes, and where a human has to sign off.
- Shape how brand voice and comms style become real product primitives, so automated messaging sounds like the customer instead of like a template — and have the backbone to cut scope when the output isn’t there yet.
- Partner with engineering on the sending infrastructure all of this rests on: flexible mailbox connectivity (Gmail, Outlook, SMTP, IMAP/POP), isolated per-customer sending environments, dedicated domains and reputation, tracking, and volume throttling.
- Make deliverability a product feature rather than a support ticket — authentication setup a non-technical user can actually complete, domain warm-up, bounce and unsubscribe handling, and clear in-product answers when a message doesn’t send.
- Run discovery with real users — creator marketing managers, agency teams, program ops — and turn their workflows, volumes, and frustrations into clear requirements.
- Look beyond the backlog. Spot opportunities across the messaging and marketing agent roadmap, challenge assumptions, and help shape where the product goes next — including channels past email, like SMS, WhatsApp, and platform DMs.
Who you are and what you'll need for this position:
- You’ve spent 4+ years in product management (or equivalent technical product ownership) in B2B SaaS — titles matter less than the work.
- You have a builder’s mindset. You prototype. You’d rather put a rough working thing in front of someone this week than write a document about it for three, and you use AI tools to build that thing yourself.
- You have genuinely good product taste, specifically for AI output: you can look at generated copy, a prototype, or an agent’s behavior and tell whether it’s good, and you can articulate why.
- You either understand email deliverability — SPF/DKIM/DMARC, domain and IP reputation, warm-up, bounce and complaint handling — or you’ll go deep on it fast.
- You’re comfortable with how modern AI features work in practice: prompting, context, evaluation, confidence, human-in-the-loop review, and where an agent should and shouldn’t be allowed to act alone.
- You’re technical enough to hold your own on infrastructure conversations — APIs, data models, queues, third-party integrations — and to recognize when a “small” request is actually touching something big.
- You can map workflows fast, write clear requirements, and explain your thinking without needing a meeting to do it.
- You’re curious, self-driven, low-ego, and allergic to “that’s not my job.”
- Comfortable working with distributed teams. Most work is async and…
