This role runs the full delivery team (both onshore and offshore) ensuring sprint cadence, risk management, stakeholder communication, and delivery governance operate smoothly across all phases. The ideal candidate is highly resourceful and comfortable pushing back when necessary to maintain scope, timelines, and project integrity.
Working under the direction of the Program Manager, the Project Manager serves as the operational hub of the engagement. This is a full-time W2 position (can also be contracted through your company if preferred) on a fixed-term engagement currently ending March 2027, with a possibility of converting into a permanent role based on performance and client needs. This role is work-from-home (remote) though must be able to commute to client offices in Falls Church, VA as needed (estimated every 2 weeks).

Sprint Operations & Team Coordination: Facilitate sprint planning and retrospective logistics, track velocity, and maintain backlog hygiene in the project management tool. Coordinate with offshore team leads on capacity, blockers, and status, escalating to the Program Manager when necessary.
Technology Implementation Alignment: Coordinate directly with the technology implementation team on project-related topics, dependencies, and integration touchpoints, escalating program-level decisions as needed.
Reporting & Documentation: Draft content for client-facing and internal status reports for Program Manager review. Maintain all program documentation—including meeting notes, decision logs, and delivery artifacts—ensuring assets remain current and accessible.
Onboarding, Scope & Readiness Support: Coordinate system access, environment provisioning, and onboarding logistics for new onshore and offshore team members. Support scope change documentation by tracking scope decisions against the program plan and budget. Track go/no-go checklist items and ensure owner…
