We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Senior Network & Infrastructure Engineer to help design, operate, secure, and continuously improve our enterprise IT infrastructure.
This role primarily focuses on enterprise networking, while also involving the administration and reliability of Linux and Windows systems, virtualization platforms, and other core infrastructure services.
Our environment includes Cisco Catalyst switches, Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), Fortinet and MikroTik devices, and a combination of Linux and Windows servers.
The ideal candidate is someone who can take ownership of complex technical challenges, design reliable solutions, troubleshoot issues independently, and turn architectural decisions into practical implementations.
We value demonstrated technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and ownership more than years of experience or certifications alone.
Key Responsibilities
Network Engineering & Security
Design, implement, maintain, and improve enterprise network infrastructure, with a focus on reliability, security, scalability, and performance.
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco Catalyst switches and enterprise routing and switching environments.
Work with Cisco ISE and Network Access Control (NAC) technologies to strengthen network security and access management.
Manage and optimize firewall configurations, VPN connectivity, network segmentation, and security policies across platforms such as Fortinet and MikroTik.
Design and implement network redundancy, high availability, and resilient connectivity.
Troubleshoot complex network issues using packet analysis, monitoring tools, logs, and systematic root cause analysis.
Support enterprise wireless infrastructure, including connectivity, authentication, and performance troubleshooting.
Evaluate existing network architecture, identify risks and bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.
Systems & Infrastructure Administration
Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows server environments.
Support core infrastructure services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and related authentication and directory services.
Manage and maintain virtualization environments, particularly VMware.
Contribute to infrastructure backup, recovery, storage, and disaster recovery capabilities.
Collaborate on system hardening, patch management, monitoring, and infrastructure security improvements.
Participate in infrastructure deployments, upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management.
Reliability, Automation & Engineering Practices
Take technical ownership of complex infrastructure issues and contribute to incident investigation and resolution.
Plan and execute infrastructure changes with appropriate testing, documentation, and rollback procedures.
Develop scripts and automation to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and reliability.
Establish and improve technical documentation, configuration standards, monitoring, and operational procedures.
Work closely with IT, security, and engineering teams to deliver reliable and secure infrastructure services.
Evaluate technical solutions and communicate trade-offs involving security, performance, cost, and operational complexity.
Share knowledge and contribute to improving the team's overall technical capabilities.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role means:
A more reliable, secure, and maintainable enterprise network.
Faster diagnosis and resolution of complex infrastructure incidents.
Reduced recurring problems through root cause analysis and preventive improvements.
Well-documented, standardized, and increasingly automated infrastructure operations.
Successful delivery of infrastructure upgrades and architectural improvements with minimal disruption.
Strong technical ownership and effective collaboration across teams.
