How You’ll Contribute:
The primary focus of the Senior Support Services Engineer is to help support enterprise AV/UC initiatives, with primary responsibility for video conferencing enablement, conference-room AV/VC refresh projects, AV hardware firmware lifecycle management, and bi-annual preventive maintenance and remediation. The engineer will work alongside the existing client AV Engineering team to deploy, configure, test, commission, upgrade, and maintain enterprise collaboration technologies including Microsoft Teams Rooms, Cisco collaboration systems, Q-SYS, Crestron, and related AV technologies. Candidates should have strong hands-on enterprise AV engineering experience and be capable of independently executing assigned project and lifecycle workstreams while collaborating with engineers, AV integrators, manufacturers, and other technology teams.
This is a hands-on AV engineering and project delivery role; it is not an AV support, meeting support, or event technician position.
The Support Services Engineer will be required to be on site Monday-Friday for eight (8) hours per day. Typical daily schedule will be 8am – 5pm. These hours may be adjusted based on client needs.
What You’ll Do:

Execute video conferencing enablement projects across client locations.
Configure, deploy, test, and commission enterprise AV/VC systems.
Support Microsoft Teams Rooms, Cisco collaboration devices, Zoom, and associated room technologies.
Validate room readiness, device configuration, audio/video performance, content sharing, control functionality, and connectivity.
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), document results, and track issues through resolution.
Troubleshoot technical and integration issues identified during deployments.
Coordinate with AV integrators, vendors, and internal teams through successful implementation and operational handoff.
2. AV/VC Refresh Projects
Execute conference room AV/VC refresh and lifecycle replacement projects.
Assess existing room technology and identify equipment requiring replacement or upgrade.
Coordinate installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning with AV integrators.
Validate refreshed systems against established AV Engineering standards.
Perform AV signal-flow, functional, and end-to-end room testing.
Troubleshoot technical issues encountered during installation and commissioning.
Track punch-list items through remediation and closure.
Validate completed installations before operational handoff and maintain required project documentation.
3. AV Firmware & Software Lifecycle Management
Coordinate firmware and software updates across enterprise AV/VC hardware.
Review and test updates prior to production deployment and coordinate maintenance windows.
Execute upgrades, perform post-update validation, and troubleshoot resulting issues.
Maintain firmware versions, deployment records, and exceptions.
4. Bi-Annual Preventive Maintenance, Audit & Remediation
Coordinate and execute bi-annual preventive maintenance across AV/VC environments.
Audit maintenance results to identify equipment failures, recurring issues, and repair or replacement needs.
Track and coordinate remediation with AV vendors, integrators, and internal teams.
Validate completed remediation and identify lifecycle or future refresh requirements.
5. Automation and Platform Improvement
Use platform telemetry and analytics to identify recurring issues, improve room reliability, and support proactive or automated diagnostics.
Participate in technology evaluations, proofs of concept, platform upgrades, release testing, documentation, and the transition of emerging capabilities into supported services.
Contribute to consistent engineering standards and repeatable solutions that can be applied across the client’s broader workplace technology environment.
6. AV Engineering & Project Support
