The People Systems & Programs Specialist supports the Employee Relations (ER) team as a HRIS and systems expert. This role is primarily hands-on: managing and improving the systems and tools ER relies on (e.g., ServiceNow and Workday), auditing ER cases, SOPs, and processes for quality, consistency, and compliance. It is paired with minor project management to deliver the enhancements, process changes, and tool rollouts that come out of that work. The role handles highly confidential information and requires sound judgment and discretion.
In this role, you will:
Serve as the day-to-day HRIS and systems expert for Employee Relations, including ER case management in ServiceNow and employee data in Workday; troubleshoot issues, support users, and triage enhancement requests
Audit ER cases on a recurring cadence for documentation completeness, process adherence, consistency, and policy compliance; document findings and drive corrective action to closure
Audit and maintain ER SOPs, process maps, job aids, and knowledge articles so guidance is accurate, current, and consistently applied
Safeguard the accuracy, confidentiality, and access controls of ER case records and related HRIS data
Translate ER needs into clear requirements, partner with People Technology and platform teams, and lead testing (UAT) and validation of changes before release
Build and maintain ER KPIs and dashboards (e.g., case volume, cycle time, quality, and trends) and turn the data into recommendations for ER leaders
Lead small, well-defined projects and enhancements, including planning, milestone tracking, risk management, and status communication
Coordinate rollout of new tools, features, and process updates, including training and communications for the ER team and partners
Partner with ER Business Partners, People Operations, HR Business Partners, Enablement, and Legal as needed to prioritize improvements and keep stakeholders aligned
