In this role, you will be responsible for the design and support of the implementation of building services systems with a focus on HVAC for challenging pharmaceutical and biotechnology projects. You will support projects throughout all phases, from concept development through to commissioning.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
Design and sizing of ventilation and air conditioning systems in GMP-regulated environments
Design of room air and process air systems
Development and design of heating, cooling, steam, and condensate systems
Design of sanitary systems and utility supply systems
Preparation of concepts, specifications, and technical calculations
Coordination of HVAC disciplines with internal and external project stakeholders
Support for feasibility studies, tenders, and procurement processe
Participation in cost estimates and proposal preparation
Ensuring compliance with GMP, quality, and safety requirements
Show your expertise
Degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Building Engineering, Energy and Environmental Engineering, or a comparable qualification
Professional experience in a similar role or several years of experience in HVAC system design
Experience in ventilation design, ideally within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or GMP-regulated environment
Knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines (SIA, VDI, DIN, or equivalent)
Experience with CAD and/or BIM design tools is an advantage
Fluent German and good English language skills
Structured and solution-oriented working style, with a strong commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and teamwork
