In this role, you will be the driving force behind project delivery, ensuring all timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. You will build and manage resource-loaded schedules, track project costs, and act as a primary bridge between technical teams, construction resources, and executive stakeholders to turn complex engineering plans into operational realities within a highly specialized, fast-paced cleanroom environment.
Semiconductor Scheduling & Critical Path: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in Microsoft Project, including task dependencies, milestones, and critical path tracking tailored to complex fab environments and sub-fab systems.
Resource Optimization: Create and manage resource-loaded schedules; monitor labor usage, maintain resource histograms, and coordinate with functional teams to resolve resource conflicts and ensure specialized trade availability.
Financial Controls & Forecasting: Build advanced Excel dashboards and forecasting models for budget, cost, and headcount tracking; track project costs, commitments, and variances to identify issues and support corrective actions.
Project Documentation & Compliance: Prepare comprehensive project reports, meeting minutes, RFIs, and change order documentation, while securely managing project documentation within shared drives and document control systems.
Site Support & General Administration: Provide general project administration, including equipment procurement tracking, tool installation invoice reconciliation, and permit follow-up.
Cleanroom Safety & Quality Assurance: Active participation in rigorous risk reviews, safety processes, and quality audits explicitly related to semiconductor construction, chemical/gas delivery systems, and cleanroom fit-outs.
Location : This is a full time on site job at Arizona future office.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), or equivalent practical experience.
Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings, P&IDs, specifications, and tool installation schedules.
Advanced Excel Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, XLOOKUP, charts, conditional formatting, and macros.
Scheduling Proficiency: Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools, including hands-on experience with resource loading, baselining, and resource leveling.
Core PM Principles: Deep understanding of project management principles, resource leveling, and earned value concepts.
Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with a proven ability to explain complex timelines to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred:
Industry Experience: Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in construction project management, project controls, and scheduling, preferably within the semiconductor sector. Direct experience managing tool fit-outs, hook-ups, or base-build construction inside operating semiconductor wafer fabs or advanced cleanroom facilities.
Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) designation or safety credentials (e.g., OSHA 30).
Systems: Familiarity with document control software common in industrial construction (e.g., Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360).
