We’re looking for an experienced Internal Communications Specialist to help establish and lead internal communications for a newly formed business.
This is a hands-on opportunity to build the internal communications approach from the ground up. You’ll develop the strategy, establish channels, standards and ways of working, and personally create communications that connect employees with the organisation’s strategy, priorities, culture and change initiatives.
What you’ll be doing
Develop and deliver the internal communications strategy and editorial calendar, aligning communications with business priorities, transformation and employee engagement objectives.
Personally write and edit employee communications, leadership updates, announcements, talking points, FAQs, speaker notes, manager briefings and communication toolkits.
Partner with senior leaders to develop communication plans and messaging for key business priorities and organisational change.
Manage internal communication channels, including the intranet, email and employee engagement platforms, using the right mix of channels for different audiences and messages.
Create presentations and communications materials for town halls, employee events, webinars and leadership communications.
Develop communications that help employees understand business strategy, culture, values and internal initiatives, adapting messaging for both employee and manager audiences.
Support communications for organisational change, restructuring, acquisitions and wider business transformation.
Measure communication effectiveness through engagement data, readership, campaign metrics and feedback, using these insights to improve future communications.
Drive productivity and business performance by embedding AI-enabled automation, improving processes based on value and risk, ensuring trusted data standards, and leveraging insights to support informed decision-making and measurable outcomes.
