The opportunity:
Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services. Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.

Create and modify designs of equipment including standard specifications for manufacturing for assignments classified as low to medium complexity by applying standard concepts.
How you’ll make an impact
1. You will lead the creation and development of design specifications, models, and engineering artifacts, conduct design reviews and verifications, making necessary modifications, ensure designs meet all relevant standards and regulations, provide technical support in reviewing and understanding contract requirements related to design projects, ensure design milestones are met, and projects are delivered on time including monitor project progress and adjust as needed, c onduct risk assessments, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies, i dentify opportunities for design improvements and innovation.
2. You will regularly interact with customers to understand their needs and incorporate, feedback into design improvements, ensure customer requirements are accurately, captured and addressed in the design process, w ork closely with the supply chain team to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective, evaluate and select materials and components, balancing cost, quality, and performance .
3. You will prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design calculations, technical reports, and manuals to support engineering processes, u se standard processes and tools, assist in developing new processes and tools for reuse of technical solutions, ensure that designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and organizational policies, identify and implement design improvements based on feedback, test results, and
industry best practices to enhance quality and efficiency.
4. You will assist the HR team in handling daily routine administrative work, cooperate with team members to complete various temporary work arrangements, and provide comprehensive auxiliary support for the daily operation of the human resources department.
5.
