Position Summary
At IDEX Health & Science we are helping change the way the world innovates, leading to new technologies that improve our health, protect our planet, and enrich our lives. The Electromechanical Design Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and optimization of components utilized in fluidic systems that are critical in life sciences. These components include rotary shear valves, sensors, degassers, and pumps that enable samples to be analyzed for critical attributes that enable diagnostics and scientific discovery instrumentation. This role bridges traditional electrical and mechanical engineering functions on the team to develop solutions with a holistic view of how our products interact with the system requirements. The position requires a hands on approach to solving technical challenges by prototyping and testing concepts to develop innovative solutions.
