Position Overview
NyproMold is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level CNC Operator to join our machining team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in precision manufacturing and tooling. The CNC Operator will assist in operating and maintaining CNC equipment while learning to produce high-quality components used in injection mold tooling.
Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC machines under supervision
Load and unload raw materials and finished parts
Monitor machine operations to ensure proper function and detect issues
Perform tool changes and offsets as directed
Inspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and setup sheets
Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
Keep machines and work areas clean and organized
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
Vocational School – completion or active
Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
Basic math skills (measurement, fractions, decimals)
Preferred:
Exposure to CNC machining through coursework, training, or internships
Ability to read basic blueprints or technical drawings
Familiarity with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time
Ability to visually inspect detailed markings and part features
Manual dexterity to handle tools and small components
Ability to lift and move materials or components weighing up to 40 pounds

The hourly pay range for this role is $16.00 - $32.00. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
