Job Summary
JCS Solutions is seeking a highly qualified Hybrid Multi-Cloud Engineer SME to support a mission-critical Department of Defense (DoD) program. This senior-level position will serve as a cloud architecture and engineering subject matter expert responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and sustaining hybrid cloud environments across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across cloud architecture, systems engineering, endpoint management, cybersecurity, automation, and infrastructure modernization initiatives. This role supports Department of Defense cloud transformation efforts and requires expertise in Zero Trust architecture, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), enterprise endpoint management, and hybrid cloud integration.
This position is ideal for a highly experienced cloud architect who excels in complex mission environments, enjoys solving challenging technical problems, and has a proven track record supporting enterprise cloud modernization initiatives within highly secure organizations.

Clearance: Secret
Salary: $96,000.00 - $105,000.00
Certification: Active DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification.

What you will do:
Cloud Architecture & Engineering Architect, design, engineer, and implement secure hybrid cloud solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure and AWS.
Design and deploy greenfield cloud environments supporting Department of Defense mission requirements.
Develop secure, scalable, resilient cloud architectures aligned with Zero Trust principles and DoD cybersecurity guidance.
Engineer secure networking solutions integrating on-premises infrastructure with Azure and AWS cloud environments.
Implement cloud-native monitoring, logging, backup, disaster recovery, and security services.
Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and provide recommendations supporting mission objectives and modernization efforts.
Endpoint Management & Security Design, implement, and administer: Microsoft Intune

Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
Manage enterprise endpoint security, device compliance, application deployment, endpoint configuration, and policy enforcement.
Support cloud-connected endpoints, remote users, virtual devices, and non-persistent endpoint environments.
Support data governance, information protection, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) initiatives.
