Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Windows Developer (Fresher) to join our software development team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of C#, .NET Framework, .NET, object-oriented programming, and Windows desktop application development.
The candidate will work closely with experienced developers to design, develop, test, and maintain Windows-based desktop applications while gaining practical experience in Microsoft development technologies, database integration, and software engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing and maintaining Windows desktop applications using C# and .NET.
Support application development using Windows Forms (WinForms) and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).
Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following development standards.
Assist in designing and implementing user-friendly desktop application interfaces.
Work with SQL Server or other relational databases for data storage and retrieval.
Support integration of desktop applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
Assist in debugging, testing, and resolving application issues.
Implement basic application features, form validation, and data processing functionalities.
Collaborate with senior developers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers.
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Assist in optimizing application performance and responsiveness.
Support application installation, configuration, and deployment activities.
Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
Maintain technical documentation for developed modules and features.
Follow Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Stay updated with Microsoft technologies and Windows application development practices.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of C# programming.
Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
Familiarity with .NET Framework or modern .NET.
Basic understanding of Windows desktop application development.
Knowledge of Windows Forms or WPF fundamentals.
Understanding of classes, objects, inheritance, polymorphism, and exception handling.
Basic knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
Familiarity with Visual Studio IDE.
Understanding of debugging and software testing concepts.
Basic knowledge of Git and GitHub.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn new Microsoft development technologies.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and XAML.
Basic knowledge of ASP.NET Core and REST API integration.
Understanding of Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) architecture.
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server.
Basic knowledge of Entity Framework Core or ADO.NET.
Understanding of asynchronous programming using async/await.
Familiarity with LINQ and collections in C#.
Basic knowledge of Windows APIs and operating system concepts.
Understanding of application packaging and deployment.
Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as MSTest, NUnit, or xUnit.

Eligibility Criteria
Fresh graduates in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines.
Candidates from other educational backgrounds with relevant C# and .NET programming skills may also apply.
0–1 year of experience.
