General Counsel – Digital Assets & DeFi

About the Role:
Plexus is partnering with a leading DeFi platform seeking a General Counsel to lead US regulatory strategy, support product launches and establish its global legal and compliance function.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead legal strategy for launching DeFi products in the US, navigating securities regulations and regulatory requirements.
Work closely with founders, product and engineering teams to develop compliant solutions for lending, borrowing and digital asset products.
Build and oversee the global legal and compliance function, managing external counsel, commercial agreements and institutional partnerships.
Key Requirements
Senior legal experience within crypto or digital assets, with strong knowledge of US securities law and regulatory frameworks.
Background in DeFi, crypto lending, tokenization, RWAs or related digital asset products.
Commercially minded, solutions-oriented legal professional capable of advising founders and navigating regulatory uncertainty.
