Join the Technical Workshop team of a well-established technology business, reporting to the Technical Manager. You will repair and support the electronic equipment customers rely on, with occasional installations and site visits.
What you will own
Component-level electronic and mechanical repairs, done neatly and on time
Installation support, from consultation to hands-on fitting
Configuring and testing sales demonstration equipment
Accurate job records, good housekeeping and safe practice
What you bring
Matric (Grade 12); a second language is advantageous
Minimum 2 years repairing digital and/or RF equipment to component level
Valid driver’s licence and your own reliable transport
You stay calm and courteous with customers, even under pressure
You work through shifting priorities with minimal supervision
Your technical toolkit
SMD component soldering
Windows, Microsoft Office and application software
Label printing software and WLAN exposure
