We are looking for an experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) with a strong background in high-volume outbound cold calling to join a growing technology company serving the outdoor recreation market. This is a fully remote, outbound-focused sales role targeting small and medium-sized businesses across the U.S., working U.S. Eastern Time (EST) hours.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience making 100 or more cold calls per day, is confident speaking directly with business owners, and is persistent, self-motivated, and comfortable handling objections and rejection.
You will introduce businesses to an advertising platform that helps them reach outdoor enthusiasts while they are planning and taking their trips. The primary goal is to generate qualified sales meetings through consistent outbound cold calling and follow-up.
Responsibilities
Make approximately 100 outbound cold calls per day to prospective U.S. businesses.
Prospect small and medium-sized businesses through cold calling, email, and other outbound channels.
Engage directly with business owners and marketing decision-makers who have not previously expressed interest in the platform.
Target hotels, inns, restaurants, powersports dealers, rental operators, outfitters, attractions, retail shops, and other businesses serving outdoor travelers.
Clearly communicate the platform's advertising value proposition, handle objections, and generate interest through cold conversations.
Book qualified meetings for the sales team through outbound cold calling and consistent follow-up.
Follow up with prospects generated through outbound campaigns, partnerships, marketing efforts, and inbound inquiries.
Manage cold calls, outreach, follow-ups, conversations, and next steps in HubSpot.
Consistently work toward daily cold-calling activity targets and weekly appointment-setting goals.
Help identify effective cold-calling scripts, messaging, and outreach strategies across new markets and regions.
Potentially take on more of the sales cycle as the company's sales process develops.
