Maintenance Technician
Location: 2700 Rice Creek Road, New Brighton, MN 55112
Brightondale Senior Living is hiring a Maintenance Technician to keep our residents' homes safe, comfortable, and functioning properly.
Who you'll Serve:
Brightondale is a Silvercrest Senior Living campus with independent and assisted living and memory care apartments. When a resident's faucet leaks or the heat goes out, you are the one who fixes it and makes their day better!
What you'll do:
Fix things in resident apartments, common areas, and on the grounds
Do routine upkeep so the building and its systems keep running well
Get empty apartments ready for new residents to move in
Tell residents and staff ahead of time when maintenance is scheduled
Work with the Maintenance Director to set yearly building goals and help meet them
Take your turn on the on-call rotation for after-hours issues
Schedule Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
On-call rotation (monthly)
What you’ll need:
Required: Able to pass a drug test and a background check
Preferred: 1 to 2 years of maintenance or handyman work (senior housing, apartments, hotels, or similar); and a High school diploma or GED
Pay and benefits $21 to $25 an hour, based on experience
