Fleet Manager – Dry Bulk – Monaco
We are working with an established ship management company seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to join its Technical Department in Monaco. The company manages 80 - 100 dry bulk vessels and provides technical, operational and commercial services to its clients.
This role would suit a marine engineer with strong leadership and budgeting skills who enjoys working closely with both vessels and shore-based colleagues. Travel will be required.
Key responsibilities
Lead and support the technical team in the management of the fleet.
Oversee vessel maintenance, technical performance, surveys and repairs.
Manage technical budgets and maintain high standards of safety and compliance.
Work with vessels and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
About you
A Marine Engineering degree or an Engineer’s Certificate with seagoing experience.
Proven experience managing a team.
Strong leadership, management and budgeting skills.
Fluent English and willingness to travel.
Experience in dry bulk technical management would be advantageous.
