Solutions Architect | Enterprise Applications
We are hiring a Solutions Architect for a financially strong, technology-driven insurance organization that provides property and casualty insurance solutions across multiple markets. The company is investing heavily in modernizing its technology landscape and building scalable enterprise platforms that support policy administration, billing, underwriting, content management, and other critical business systems
This is a highly visible role focused on solution architecture, technical leadership, and enterprise application design. You will partner with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and technology leaders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that support long-term business growth and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical architecture experience with the ability to influence stakeholders, guide development teams, and drive successful delivery across complex enterprise environments.
Core Requirements
8+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, enterprise applications, or technical leadership roles
Strong experience designing enterprise-scale application architectures
Deep understanding of system integration, APIs, data flows, and distributed systems
Experience guiding development teams through complex technical initiatives
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills
Experience working across multiple enterprise platforms and application ecosystems
Proven ability to identify and mitigate technical risks
Preferred Experience
Insurance industry experience
Experience supporting policy administration, billing, underwriting, claims, or similar core business platforms
Cloud architecture experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Microservices and event-driven architecture experience
Agile delivery environments
Enterprise architecture frameworks and governance practices
Experience modernizing legacy applications and integration strategies
Core Responsibilities
Lead the design of end-to-end enterprise solutions that align with business goals and architectural standards
Partner with business leaders and product stakeholders to define technology roadmaps and solution strategies
Guide engineering teams on architecture, implementation approaches, and technical decision-making
Drive consistency across application integrations, data flows, and system interactions
Review and validate architecture designs, technical specifications, and key implementation decisions
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and development teams to ensure scalable and reliable solutions
Identify technical gaps, risks, and opportunities for modernization
Establish and promote best practices for architecture, integration, and application development
Support strategic initiatives involving enterprise applications, digital transformation, and platform modernization
Reduce technical debt through practical and forward-looking architecture solutions
Compensation
$140,000 – $170,000 base salary depending on experience and location
