This business has built a solid reputation over years of growth in the sector, and it's now at the stage where it needs a Senior Development Manager who can run the detail and still see the whole project.
Here's what you'll be doing: Lead development appraisals and feasibility studies for new Property & Construction schemes across the Vancouver region Manage consultant teams (architects, engineers, planners) from design through to practical completion Negotiate with municipal planning departments and handle rezoning and permitting processes Track project budgets, cash flow and risk registers, flagging issues before they become problems Build and maintain relationships with contractors, landowners and institutional partners Report progress and financial performance directly to senior leadership Here are the skills you'll need: Several years' experience in a development management role within Property & Construction Strong grasp of Vancouver's planning framework and municipal approval processes Comfortable reading a pro forma and challenging the numbers when something doesn't add up Clear communicator who can hold their own with contractors, lawyers and city planners alike Organised under pressure.
