Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
About the Role
Are you a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant looking for a primary care role where you’ll build real relationships with your patients — not just see them once in a walk-in? Thundermist Health Center is looking for Advanced Practice Providers to join our primary care teams across Rhode Island. You’ll manage your own patient panel, deliver continuity-focused care including preventive, acute, and chronic disease management, and work within an integrated care model alongside physicians, behavioral health clinicians, care managers, and community health workers. This is not a Convenient Care or walk-in role — it’s primary care with a panel, a team, and a community that depends on you. Thundermist is a multi-site FQHC serving over 65,000 patients, and we’re committed to delivering care regardless of insurance status, immigration status, or ability to pay.
