MES/Software Engineer (Bilingual Korean required)
Timpl has partnered with a is a global leader in 3D inspection technology for
electronics manufacturing company and is looking for MES/Software Engineer.
MAJOR FUNCTION:
* Develop Smart Factory solution for USA, Canada, Mexico, and South America
customers.
* Gather and document customer requirements as well as software architecture.
* Provide exceptional customer service by providing professional technical
services.
* Become an expert on Koh Young inspection equipment and KSMART solution tools.
* Attend trade shows to exhibit and demonstrate machines and/or KSMART tools as
needed.
* Serve as a helpdesk agent to answer questions/requests from customers.
* Collaborate with sales and other staff on pre-sales activities,
teleconferences, quotations, etc.
* Report development, installation, training, evaluation, or any other service
activities in the way the
* supervisor requested.
PREREQUISITES:
* Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Systems or related.
* 3+ years, strong programming skills in C#, C/C++, Java, SQL, Python,
JavaScript.
* 2+ years, Web Services, TCP/IP Communication, parsers, etc.
* 2+ years, of advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux-based OS.
* 1+ year, of experience in IPC-CFX, IPC-HERMES, SECS/GEM, iTAC, or any other
standard preferred.
* 1+ year, SPI and AOI programming, operation, and maintenance preferred.
* Excellent verbal and written English level.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision.
* Problem-solving skills especially when faced with unexpected situations in
the field.
* An open mind and proactive attitude.
* Good organizational, teamwork, administrative, and project management skills.
* Strong mechanical aptitude, and detail-oriented.
