Production Manager (Bilingual Korean required)
Timpl has partnered with one of the largest tier-1 automobile manufacturers to
recruit a bilingual Korean Production Manager. The details are as follows:
MAJOR FUNCTION:
* Supervise and coordinate manufacturing activities.
* Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with support groups.
* Monitor safety, quality, and productivity in the plant.
* Perform additional functions as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Explain company policies to Supervisors.
* Enforce safety regulations.
* Recommend and assist in implementing improvements.
* Strive to meet labor goals.
* Address disciplinary issues with Supervisors and HR.
* Resolve worker conflicts and ensure team members have necessary tools.
* Coach, counsel, train, and motivate team members.
* Participate in evaluations, committees, and task forces.
* Initiate disciplinary actions with HR.
* Communicate daily issues to the Plant Manager.
* Support plant and departmental initiatives.
* Mentor team members on team building, standardized work, and continuous
improvement.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Supervise all production employees in emergencies.
PREREQUISITES:
* Knowledge of products, processes, people, and systems; automotive and TS16949
experience preferred.
* Engineering degree preferred or equivalent experience.
* Strong communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork ability.
* Basic computer skills.
