Quality Engineer/Manager (Bilingual Korean Required)
Timpl has partnered with a leading global manufacturer of innovative building
and industrial materials, specializing in surfaces, flooring, and automotive
components. And we are seeking an Accounting Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and maintain quality standards for Autoskin products throughout the
production process.
* Conduct inspections, testing, and validation of raw materials, in-process
goods, and finished products.
* Manage PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), APQP, and other automotive
quality documentation.
* Analyze customer complaints, identify root causes, and implement corrective
and preventive actions (CAPA).
* Support audits (internal, customer, and third-party) and ensure compliance
with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
* Collaborate with R&D, production, and suppliers to resolve quality issues and
improve product performance.
* Maintain control plans, FMEA, and standard operating procedures for Autoskin
product lines.
* Provide quality reports and data analysis to management and customers.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to enhance
product quality and reduce defects.
* Communicate effectively with automotive OEM customers regarding
specifications, quality concerns, and performance updates.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, or related
field) required.
* 3+ years of quality engineering or quality assurance experience in the
automotive industry.
* Strong knowledge of automotive quality systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP,
PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
* Experience with Autoskin, surface materials, polymers, or automotive interior
components preferred.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills (8D, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality tools/software.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional
teams.
* Bilingual (English/Korean) is a plus.
