QUALITY CONTROL ASSISTANT MANAGER (BILINGUAL KOREAN REQUIRED)
Timpl has partnered with a leading 3PL logistics service provider offering
integrated solutions including air, ocean, and ground transportation,
warehousing & distribution, and customs clearance. And we are now seeking a
shift manager position.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage shift operations, including warehouse staff, drivers,
and logistics coordinators.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and standard
operating procedures.
* Monitor productivity, accuracy, and efficiency to meet customer requirements
and KPIs.
* Assign daily tasks, manage schedules, and adjust resources as needed.
* Prepare shift reports including staffing, incidents, and performance metrics.
* Train, coach, and evaluate team members to improve skills and performance.
* Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively while escalating critical
matters when necessary.
* Collaborate with Transportation, Customs, and other departments to ensure
smooth end-to-end logistics.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and
reduce errors.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or
equivalent work experience).
* Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in logistics, warehousing, or 3PL
environment.
* Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency with WMS, ERP, and Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency required).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work flexible shifts (nights, weekends, holidays as needed).
* Bilingual (English/Korean or Spanish) is a plus.
