Designing and integrating electrical systems within aircraft suites to meet company, regulatory and customer requirements
Producing 3D harness routing, block diagrams, along with 2D/3D electrical installation and systems designs in SolidWorks
Integrating seat electrical equipment with mechanical structures, trim and finish, cabin interfaces, and aircraft power and communication systems
Coordinating harness routing and installation design with mechanical, systems, industrial design, certification, manufacturing and supplier teams, balancing accessibility, maintainability, weight and space constraints
Capturing, analysing and managing electrical requirements, interface definitions, assumptions and design constraints throughout the product lifecycle
Leading or contributing to design reviews, ensuring electrical interfaces are technically complete, controlled and agreed with cross-functional teams, customers, aircraft manufacturers and suppliers
Taking part in product validation through prototyping, testing and troubleshooting
Preparing and reviewing engineering documentation, test procedures, test reports, compliance evidence and certification data
