EDC EE Architect is responsible for defining the product architecture based on fixed, variable and specific parts, he/she is the standard owner for the product configurator tool.
YOUR CHALLENGES:
Define/maintain the architecture of the product
With the support of “System Discipline”, define Structure of product and its components
Defines the product configurator, and the method to use it in RFQ phase of P1 Projects
Defines standards at product level like DFMEA, standard SPPC, design rule, trainings ...
Ensure an optimize design to cost approach and maximal reuse of existing blocks
Check patents clearance
Maintain the Product Configurator
Through generations and variants
Integrating or updating standard parts and methods provided by the standard owners
Support development teams in P1 projects
With the privileged interface of the Platform Integrator, to support engineering teams in P1 projects mainly in RFQ Phase for complex RFQ,
Provide support during warranty crisis
Support to resolve technical blocking points during product development
Train the P1 teams to her/his product standards
Let´s talk about you:
University Degree in mechanical, electronic engineering field
Experience on a similar role 3-5 years
Experience of design, prototyping, troubleshooting and testing of components of heat pump system, ideally compressors is an advantage
Good communication and presentations skills
