This is a hands-on controllership role with a clear focus on year-end : getting the numbers audit-ready, keeping the close tight, and delivering clean statutory and group reporting. You will be the link between a team of 15 and the CFO. You'll translate strategy into delivery, and make sure the CFO gets accurate, timely and well-explained numbers.
What you'll do
Lead the month-end, and year-end close across all five entities, delivering accurate reporting to deadline
Own the year-end process , including statutory reporting, audit coordination and tax and regulatory filings across multiple jurisdictions
Act as the go-between for the finance team and the CFO , owning communication, priorities and escalation
Oversee billing, AR, AP, general ledger, revenue recognition and cost accounting, all run on NetSuite
Apply the client's group accounting policies and IFRS (including IFRS 15 and IFRS 16)
Produce monthly and quarterly reporting with variance analysis and business performance reviews
Manage cash flow reporting and forecasting, payroll review, and reporting to parent entities
Analyse working capital, profitability and EBITDA, and partner with business leaders on decisions
What you'll bring
A professional accounting qualification (ideally ACA)
Strong IFRS knowledge, with IFRS 15 and 16 experience
Proven experience running financial close in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment
NetSuite experience
Strong technical accountant
Strong analytical and modelling skills, with attention to detail
Confident stakeholder management with the CFO and other members of the SLT across functions and time zones
