Job Summary
Luminate Heritage is WellBe’s most technical in-house platform and supports changes across our EMR, scheduling platform and broader ecosystem. The Technical IT Project Manager is the long-term delivery owner for Heritage, accountable for turning architecture, engineering and operational dependencies into an executable roadmap. You will work credibly in code reviews, architecture sessions and SQL-based investigations; challenge scope and estimates; drive release readiness; and translate technical risk and tradeoffs into clear decisions for leadership.
Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Own delivery of the Luminate Heritage roadmap, including enhancements, technical debt, stabilization and modernization
Work hands-on with developers and architects to decompose technical scope, review designs, validate estimates and sequence work
Build and maintain a dependency map of Heritage's interfaces with Luminate 2.0, the scheduling platform and other systems, and assess the technical impact of every change
Coordinate release engineering: branching strategy, CI/CD readiness, environments, code freezes, deployment windows, regression scope and rollback plans
Investigate production issues with engineering, using logs, queries and monitoring to understand root cause and drive corrective action
Surface architecture, performance, scalability, security and technical-debt risks early, with impact and options
Define, interpret and use delivery metrics—including velocity, lead time, defect leakage, deployment frequency and change failure rate—to forecast delivery, identify bottlenecks and drive measurable improvements in release quality
Run Scrum ceremonies and backlog health with Product Owners and engineering
Maintain technical documentation, architecture decision records and runbooks
Translate technical status into clear, honest reporting for IT leadership and the Steering Committee
Lead cutover, go-live and hypercare for platform releases, including defect triage and root-cause follow-up
Report status, risks and issues early and plainly; escalate with options, not just problems
Job Requirements
Required skills and abilities
Ability to follow application code and technical designs, write and interpret SQL queries for data and defect investigation, and use logs or monitoring evidence to ask informed questions and validate engineering conclusions

Experience managing shared platforms where one change affects multiple downstream applications
Experience with production support, incident management and root-cause analysis
Strong Agile and Scrum delivery in Jira and Confluence, including sprint planning and release management
The ability to challenge an engineering estimate respectfully and explain complex risk simply to executives
Preferred
PMP certification
Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, A-CSM or SAFe)
Cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS or GCP)
HL7 or FHIR interoperability experience
