About the Opportunity
An established South Florida General Contractor is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee contract administration, subcontractor compliance, and risk management across its construction projects.
This role will play a key part in managing the full contract lifecycle, ensuring subcontract agreements, insurance requirements, bonds, and project documentation are properly executed and maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, issue, and manage subcontract agreements, master service agreements, purchase orders, and change orders.
Oversee subcontractor prequalification and ensure all required documentation is received before contract execution.
Manage insurance certificates, renewals, endorsements, and compliance with contractual requirements.
Track and maintain subcontractor bonds, insurance logs, contract logs, and procurement records.
Coordinate contract approvals, execution, renewals, and signature processes.
Monitor contractual compliance and ensure documentation is properly maintained in Procore.
Maintain vendor records and communicate with subcontractors regarding contractual requirements.
Identify potential compliance and risk management issues and coordinate resolutions with project leadership.
Qualifications
3–5+ years of experience in construction contracts administration, contract management, or risk management.
Previous experience with a General Contractor strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of subcontract agreements, insurance requirements, bonds, and subcontractor prequalification.
Experience with Procore and construction management software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
$80,000–$90,000 base salary plus full benefit package
