Job Title: Class 2 Refuse Driver
Location: Gloucester
Job Type: Ongoing – 5 days per week
Pay Rate: £16.62 – £18.63 per hour
We are looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 Refuse Driver to join our client’s waste management team in Gloucester . This is a great opportunity for experienced HGV Class 2 drivers looking for steady, long-term work with competitive pay.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle safely and efficiently
Collect waste along designated routes, maintaining schedules
Complete vehicle pre-checks and report any defects or maintenance issues
Interact courteously with the public and site personnel where required
Follow all Health & Safety and waste collection protocols
Required Qualifications & Skills
Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
Driver CPC / DQC qualification and digital tachograph card
Maximum 6 penalty points (no DR10 endorsements)
Previous refuse collection or commercial driving experience preferred
Good physical fitness (some manual handling required)
Positive, team-player attitude with strong communication skills
Minimum 12 months HGV Driving experience
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
6 .45am-5.00pm
