Ambitious Dedicated Offshore Developer wanted to drive real impact in Offshore Staffing from Montreal.
Offshore Staffing has shifted from a cost play to a trust play.
Clients want developers who show up, communicate clearly, and build software that works first time, not the cheapest option they could find.
This role sits with an established offshore staffing provider, a growing SME with structured processes and genuine room to carve out your own path, that places skilled developers like you directly into client projects on a long-term basis.
Here's what you'll be doing: Working as a Dedicated Offshore Developer embedded within a client's existing engineering team, picking up their codebase and conventions quickly Building, testing and maintaining features across the stack as directed by the client's technical lead Writing clean, documented code that another developer could pick up without a three-hour handover call Joining daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions, flagging blockers before they become delays Fixing bugs, reviewing pull requests, and keeping deployment pipelines moving Reporting progress back to the offshore staffing provider's account managers, who sit between you and the client Here are the skills you'll need: Solid grounding in at least one modern programming language, with a willingness to adapt to whatever stack the client runs Comfortable working remotely and independently, without someone standing over your shoulder Clear written and spoken English.
Client communication is half the job Some exposure to version control, agile workflows and code review etiquette A genuinely curious streak.
You ask questions rather than guess and hope Reliable, honest about your own limitations, and quick to flag problems Key perks and benefits: Salary of C$24,000 to C$41,000, reflecting a junior-aligned offshore staffing role with mid-level technical scope Fully remote working, based from Montreal with no office commute Private medical insurance and pension contribution Annual leave and flexible working patterns Bonus schemes tied to client satisfaction and delivery, plus structured professional development Why pursue a career in Offshore Staffing?
