Perfect role for a mid professional looking to grow their Offshore Staffing career in Leeds.
Offshore development teams have become the backbone of how growing businesses scale technical delivery without the overheads of a full in-house department.
This SME, an established and growing player in offshore staffing, is looking for a Dedicated Offshore Developer to join a structured but flexible setup based out of Leeds.
The work is real, the team is small enough that you'll be noticed, and there's genuine room to build a career here rather than just fill a seat.
Here's what you'll be doing: Deliver day-to-day development work for a dedicated client account, working as an embedded extension of their team Write, test and maintain code across assigned projects, keeping quality and deadlines front of mind Communicate progress clearly with both the client and your internal Leeds-based team Troubleshoot issues as they arise and document fixes so others can learn from them Take part in code reviews and contribute to improving how the offshore development process runs Flag risks or blockers early rather than letting them become someone else's problem Here are the skills you'll need: Solid hands-on development experience, ideally across more than one language or framework Comfort working remotely with a dedicated client, including different time zones and working styles Clear written and verbal communication.
You'll often be the bridge between two teams A methodical approach to debugging and problem-solving Willingness to take feedback and adapt quickly.
This isn't a role for anyone precious about their code Some exposure to agile delivery methods is useful, though not essential Key perks and benefits: Salary of £20,500 to £35,500, depending on experience Fully remote working, with the flexibility that brings to your week Private medical insurance and pension contribution Annual leave allowance plus flexible working arrangements Bonus scheme on top of base salary Why pursue a career in Offshore Staffing?
Offshore staffing keeps growing as more businesses realise they don't need everything sitting in one office to run well.
Leeds has quietly become one of the stronger UK hubs for this kind of work, with a deep pool of technical talent and companies willing to invest in it properly.
Good developers who can operate well in a dedicated offshore setup are hard to find, which means progression tends to come faster than in more traditional in-house roles.
This Dedicated Offshore Developer opportunity is brought to you by The Opportunity Hub UK.
